Die App traveling ist eine private Reise-Dokumentations-App für iPhone und iPad. Mit traveling können Nutzer Reisen, Länder, Orte, Fotos, Tagebucheinträge, Highlights, Budgets und weitere persönliche Reisedaten verwalten.
Der Schutz deiner persönlichen Daten ist uns wichtig. Diese Datenschutzerklärung erklärt, welche Daten in der App verarbeitet werden und zu welchem Zweck.
3. Welche Daten verarbeitet werden
Je nach Nutzung der App können folgende Daten verarbeitet werden:
- Reisedaten wie Trip-Titel, Reisedaten, Beschreibungen, Länder und geplante Reisen
- Benutzerinhalte wie Tagebuchtexte, Highlights, Notizen und Kontakte/Personennamen, die du selbst in der App eingibst
- Fotos und Bilder, wenn du Fotos importierst oder als Cover, Highlight oder Tagebuchbild verwendest
- Standortdaten bzw. Ortsdaten, wenn du Orte, Stopps oder Routen speicherst
- Budget- und Kostendaten, wenn du Ausgaben oder Budgets in der App erfasst
- Apple-Account-Informationen wie Name oder E-Mail-Adresse, wenn du freiwillig „Mit Apple anmelden“ verwendest
- iCloud-Synchronisierungsdaten, wenn du iCloud Sync aktiv nutzt
- Health-Daten aus Apple Health, wenn du der App Zugriff gewährst, um Aktivitäten während eines Trips anzuzeigen
4. Wie die Daten verwendet werden
Die verarbeiteten Daten werden ausschließlich verwendet, um die Funktionen der App bereitzustellen, insbesondere für:
- Verwaltung und Anzeige deiner Reisen
- Anzeige besuchter Länder und Statistiken
- Speicherung und Darstellung von Fotos, Orten, Routen, Highlights und Tagebuchinhalten
- Budget- und Kostenübersichten
- optionale Synchronisierung deiner Daten über iCloud
- optionale Anzeige von Apple-Health-Aktivitäten
- optionale App-Sperre mit Face ID oder Gerätecode
5. Speicherung der Daten
Die Daten werden grundsätzlich auf deinem Gerät gespeichert.
Wenn du iCloud Sync verwendest, können deine Daten zusätzlich über Apples iCloud-/CloudKit-Dienste synchronisiert und gespeichert werden, damit sie auf mehreren deiner Geräte verfügbar sind.
Wir betreiben keinen eigenen Server zur Speicherung deiner Reisedaten.
6. Fotos
Wenn du der App Zugriff auf deine Fotos gewährst, werden nur die Bilder verwendet, die du selbst für traveling auswählst oder importierst. Der Zugriff dient ausschließlich der Anzeige und Speicherung innerhalb deiner Reisedokumentation.
7. Standortdaten
Standort- und Ortsdaten werden nur verarbeitet, wenn du sie selbst in der App speicherst oder auswählst, zum Beispiel für Orte und Routen innerhalb eines Trips.
8. Health-Daten
Wenn du der App Zugriff auf Apple Health gewährst, werden Health- bzw. Trainingsdaten nur verwendet, um passende Aktivitäten im Zusammenhang mit deinen Reisen anzuzeigen. Die Nutzung dieser Daten ist optional.
9. Mit Apple anmelden
Wenn du „Mit Apple anmelden“ verwendest, können von Apple bereitgestellte Informationen wie deine Apple-Benutzerkennung, dein Name oder deine E-Mail-Adresse verarbeitet werden, soweit sie von Apple bereitgestellt und von dir freigegeben werden.
10. Weitergabe an Dritte
Es erfolgt keine Weitergabe deiner personenbezogenen Daten an Dritte zu Werbezwecken.
Je nach genutzter Funktion können Daten über Dienste von Apple verarbeitet werden, insbesondere:
- iCloud / CloudKit
- Sign in with Apple
- Apple Health
- Apple Fotos
- Apple Karten
11. Tracking und Werbung
traveling verwendet kein Tracking für Werbung und keine Drittanbieter-Werbenetzwerke.
12. Deine Kontrolle
Du kannst Daten jederzeit selbst verwalten oder löschen, zum Beispiel durch:
- Löschen einzelner Inhalte in der App
- Löschen aller App-Daten
- Entfernen deines Apple-Profils aus der App
- Deaktivieren von iCloud Sync
- Deaktivieren von Foto-, Health- oder Standortberechtigungen in iOS
13. Datensicherheit
Es werden die von Apple bereitgestellten Sicherheits- und Verschlüsselungsmechanismen genutzt, insbesondere bei iCloud, Sign in with Apple und anderen Systemdiensten.
14. Kinder
Die App richtet sich nicht speziell an Kinder. Es werden keine wissentlich personenbezogenen Daten von Kindern zu Werbe- oder Profilingzwecken erhoben.
15. Änderungen dieser Datenschutzerklärung
Diese Datenschutzerklärung kann aktualisiert werden, wenn sich die App oder rechtliche Anforderungen ändern. Es gilt jeweils die aktuell veröffentlichte Version.

2. General Information
traveling is a private travel documentation app for iPhone and iPad. The app allows users to manage trips, countries, places, photos, diary entries, highlights, budgets, and other personal travel data.
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data may be processed in the app and for what purpose.
3. Data We Process
Depending on how you use the app, the following types of data may be processed:
- Travel data such as trip titles, travel dates, descriptions, countries, and planned trips
- User content such as diary text, highlights, notes, and contact/person names that you enter yourself
- Photos and images if you import photos or use them as covers, highlight images, or diary images
- Location and place data if you save places, stops, or routes
- Budget and cost data if you enter expenses or budgets
- Apple account information such as your name or email address if you choose to use Sign in with Apple
- iCloud synchronization data if you use iCloud Sync
- Health data from Apple Health if you grant access so the app can display activities during a trip
4. How Data Is Used
The processed data is used only to provide the app’s features, including:
- managing and displaying your trips
- showing visited countries and statistics
- storing and displaying photos, places, routes, highlights, and diary content
- showing budget and cost summaries
- optionally syncing your data through iCloud
- optionally showing Apple Health activities
- optionally locking the app with Face ID or device passcode
5. Data Storage
Your data is primarily stored on your device.
If you use iCloud Sync, your data may also be stored and synchronized through Apple’s iCloud / CloudKit services so it can be available across your devices.
We do not operate our own server to store your travel data.
6. Photos
If you grant the app access to your photos, only the images you choose or import into traveling are used. Photo access is used solely for displaying and storing content within your travel documentation.
7. Location Data
Location and place data is only processed when you actively save or select it in the app, for example for places and routes within a trip.
8. Health Data
If you grant the app access to Apple Health, health or workout data is used only to display relevant activities related to your trips. Use of this data is optional.
9. Sign in with Apple
If you use Sign in with Apple, information provided by Apple such as your Apple user identifier, name, or email address may be processed if it is made available by Apple and shared by you.
10. Sharing with Third Parties
We do not share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Depending on the features you use, data may be processed through Apple services, including:
- iCloud / CloudKit
- Sign in with Apple
- Apple Health
- Apple Photos
- Apple Maps
11. Tracking and Advertising
traveling does not use tracking for advertising purposes and does not use third-party advertising networks.
12. Your Control
You can manage or delete your data at any time, for example by:
- deleting individual content in the app
- deleting all app data
- removing your Apple profile from the app
- disabling iCloud Sync
- revoking photo, health, or location permissions in iOS
13. Data Security
The app relies on Apple-provided security and encryption mechanisms, especially for iCloud, Sign in with Apple, and other system services.
14. Children
The app is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for advertising or profiling purposes.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the app changes or if legal requirements change. The most recent published version will always apply.
